Articles by Ms. Johansen-Werner have appeared in Worship Arts, the journal of The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts, and in Sounding Board, the journal of the Iowa Choral Director's Association.
Bonnie wrote several series for Worship Arts, including series on "Pianists Turned Organists," "Vocal Techniques," and "Composition and Improvisation at the Keyboard." Each series speaks from her experience as a multifaceted church musician. Some of these articles are available online to Fellowship members at http://www.fummwa.org. Earlier articles may be available soon.
Her writings for Sounding Board included reviews of college level choral music.
